Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a science-based profession that helps people affected by injury, disease, and disability through the use of Manual therapy, Movement and Exercise, Strength and Conditioning, and Education and Advice.
The profession encourages development and facilitates recovery, enabling people to stay in work while helping them remain independent and healthy for as long as possible.
A detailed history of your condition and a thorough examination are undertaken, after which treatment and a management plan are introduced to help you function pain-free.
Physiotherapy utilises a range of techniques to achieve this. Examples we use include Joint Manipulation, Joint Mobilisation and Articulation, Acupuncture, Taping, Exercise Therapy and Gym Rehabilitation, Outdoor Rehabilitation, and Post-Operative Treatment and Rehabilitation.
